Opera Sustenida returns with Sisters in Arms, a cinematic storytelling concert celebrating opera’s sisters, vixens, lovers, queens, witches and warriors.
Dramatic soprano Stephanie DeCiantis, coloratura soprano Nicole Whitney Dubinsky and pianist Suzanne Yeo bring these unforgettable women to life through powerhouse arias, dazzling duets, Opera Sustenida’s signature cinematic videos and warm, down-to-earth storytelling. Featuring music by Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, Wagner, Bizet, Rossini, Bernstein and more, Sisters in Arms looks beyond the familiar plots to explore women who love, lead, fight and endure.
Presented by Opéra Queens as the August feature of its historic six-month residency, the first opera residency at TRANZAC.
